Hollande receives Azhar imam

French President Francois Hollande met Tuesday with Grand Imam of Egypt's Al Azhar Dr Ahmed el Tayyeb, currently visiting here.
Talks between Hollande and Tayyeb are expected to tackle regional developments and the role played by Al Azhar at the local and international levels.
They will also discuss ways by which France can support Muslim issues, as well as conditions of Muslim communities in Europe.
The two sides discussed coordinating efforts to promote world peace and co-existence in the face of extremism and terrorism.
