Minister of Interior Salamah Hammad met with his Somali counterpart Abdul Rahman Hussein on Friday in Tunisia and discussed the possibility of training Somali police in Jordan.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 33rd session of the Arab Ministers of Interior Council, which concluded yesterday in Tunisia.
The two ministers also discussed ways to help Somalia address the challenges facing the country and to implement the royal directives to support Somali people in the policing and security domains.
On the other hand, Minister Hammad underlined the importance of the Arab interior ministers' meetings, which, he said, contribute to bolstering the Arab security field.
