
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar met on Monday with Arab Parliament Speaker Ahmed el Jarawan, who is currently visiting Cairo to attend the first conference of Arab Parliament Speakers.
During the meeting, they reviewed the conference's outcomes including issuing required laws that aim to confront security threats, crimes and terror.
The minister said that Egypt is currently witnessing a state of stability, stressing the importance of fostering relations among Arab countries to confront terrorism and extremism.
He called for activating religious, educational, media, cultural institutions' role in the Arab countries to protect youths from extremism thought.
Meanwhile, Jarawan hailed Egyptian people for finalizing the roadmap via holding the parliamentary elections and also lauded Egyptian policemen for their role in confronting the terrorism phenomenon.
