Irrigation minister meets Ethiopian diplomat
Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati

Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati met on Wednesday with Ethiopian Ambassador here Mahmoud Dirrir for talks on boosting cooperation in the water resources and irrigation between the two countries.
Talks tackled setting up development corridors among Nile-basin countries that include rail lines, roads and power linkage networks, Abdel Ati said.
The Ethiopian ambassador lauded the development corridors idea, saying this idea could serve achieving hoped-for integration among Nile-basin countries.
He also hoped for increasing trade exchange between Egypt and Ethiopia.
