
Minister of Social Development, Reem Abu Hassan, on Monday, received Finland's Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Hanna Mantyla, and an accompanying delegation, on the sidelines of a four-day official visit to Jordan.
The two ministers discussed ways of joint cooperation in social, developmental and economic spheres.
Abu Hassan said her ministry seeks to cement partnership and promote integration with Finnish authorities in order to carry out efficient and qualitative social projects to upgrade the level of social services provided to citizens and residents of the Kingdom.
The Finnish delegation was briefed on the ministry's social services in the Kingdom.
The delegation praised as a "model" and "pioneer" in the region, the social system in Jordan, in terms of social services, national competencies and qualified manpower in various fields.
