
Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Nasser Judeh, on Wednesday met Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby.
The meeting reviewed the existing cooperation between Jordan and the Arab League, the importance of enhancing joint Arab work, and efforts to combat terrorism and extremism and inter-Arab coordination in this regard.
El-Araby expressed his condemnation of yesterday's terrorist attack that targeted a Jordanian military site in Al-Rakban area at the border with Syria and left a number of dead and wounded soldiers. He voiced the Arab League's full solidarity with Jordan in fighting terrorism.
The two sides reviewed the ongoing preparations for the Arab summit in Mauritania in July as well as the latest developments of the Palestinian issue and the situation in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen.
