
Jordanian Interior Minister Salameh Hammad has praised current efforts exerted by the Egyptian Interior Ministry and the role it plays in fighting terrorism and crimes.
During a meeting with Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, Hammad said his visit to Cairo is part of profound ties and constant consultation between officials in the two countries.
Abdel Ghaffar, for his part, said his ministry is very interested in boosting bridges of communication with security bodies in Arab countries, especially Jordan.
The Jordanian official is currently visiting Cairo leading a high-profile security delegation to discuss vistas of cooperation between the interior ministries in Egypt and Jordan and the latest developments in security issues of mutual concern.
