Jordanian Monarch Meets European Union Representative
Amman - Arab Today
King Abdullah II of Jordan met today with Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice-President of the Commission who is currently visiting Amman.
Talks during the meeting dealt with Middle East and international developments, in addition to developments or the Syrian crisis.
The Jordanian monarch renewed his country's support for reaching a political solution to the Syrian crisis and the need to enhance efforts aimed to fight terrorism. He condemned the terrorist attacks in the Belgian capital today.
For her part Mogherini reiterated the European Union's commitment to provide support to Jordan in various fields.
