
Juma Al Majid, Chairman of Juma Al Majid Centre for Culture and Heritage, Chairman of Dubai Economic Council, has discussed with Hon. Emmanuel Mallia, Minister for Competitiveness and Digital, Maritime and Services Economy, trade and economic relations between the two countries.
This came when Al Majid met in his office here on Friday the Maltese minister in the presence of Kenneth Farrugia, Chairman of FinanceMalta.
Accompanied by Al Majid, the delegation toured the sections of the centre. The delegation also visited the digital lab, where Al Majid briefed the guests on the importance of the digital protection of books so as to facilitate the delivery to researchers.
The Maltese delegation presented to Juma Al Majid a memento shield and thanked him for his service to the science and heritage. In turn, Al Majid presented to the Maltese minister a copy of book 'Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam,' translated into English, and the image of old Dubai dating back to 1940.
