
Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, on Thursday met HE Chief of Staff, Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, accompanied by Emiri Infantry Commander, Major General Mohamed bin Ali Al Ghanim.
The meeting reviewed a set of issues of common concern, particularly in the military field.
The Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and minister of defense stressed the depth of ties between Kuwait and Qatar and their keenness on boosting and enhancing them. He also praised the Desert Leopards joint drill between the infantry of both countries with the participation of Kuwait National Guards, and aimed to improve the training level and combat readiness as well as give them more expertise to develop mutual military cooperation between Kuwait and neighboring countries.
