
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah met on Wednesday with UN Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed for talks on the UN-backed Yemeni peace negotiations.
During the gathering, attended by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah, they discussed the latest developments of the Yemeni peace talks currently being held here between the Yemeni government and the Houthi delegation.
Also, the Kuwaiti emir held a meeting with Chief of the Yemeni Government Delegation and Foreign Minister Abdul Malik Al Mekhlafi, Chief of the Yemeni General People's Congress Aref Awad Azwka and Head of the Houthis' Delegation Mohamed Abd El Salam.
Furthermore, the Kuwaiti emir urged the conferees to continue consultations to reach fruitful results that could contribute to achieving peace and preserving the security and stability of Yemen. (MENA)
