Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and the visiting German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed situation of Syrian displaced persons and developments in Lebanon and the region .
Lebanon hosts close to 1.5 million Syrian displaced most of them suffering difficult social conditions amid the inability of the Lebanese government and international donors to secure their basic needs in the country its public debt exceeds $73 billion .
