
H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, yesterday met with Fayez Al-Sarraj, Head of the Presidential Council of the Libyan Government of National Accord, on the sidelines the 22nd Conference of the Parties, COP22, to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, currently being held in Morocco.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the existing bilateral relations between the UAE and Libya and the importance of boosting them to serve the common interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, in addition to reviewing the latest developments in the Libyan arena.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour highlighted the UAE's support for all international efforts to converge the views of the various Libyan parties to ensure the return of stability, security and peace to Libya and its brotherly people.
The meeting was attended by Suhail Mattar Al Ketbi, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco.
