
Minister of Military Production Mohamed el Assar met Tuesday with a number of African ambassadors to Egypt to discuss means to open new markets in their countries.
Assar said his Ministry is seeking to boost industrial and economic cooperation with African countries, both in military and civilian products.
He made it clear that the Military Production Ministry helped secure training courses for Africans in the fields of fiber optics and mechatronics, which are considered main pillars of advanced technology industries in African countries.
Assar said his Ministry is keen on participating in African exhibitions, citing the most recent events in Uganda and Sudan.
He invited the African ambassadors to visit military production companies to get firsthand information about their potentials.
