
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, met in Beijing yesterday with a group of Emirati students in the Chinese universities and colleges.
During the meeting attended by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Sheikh Mohamed was briefed by the students about their specialisations and their academic progress.
He urged the students to work hard to achieve success in their academic endeavours in order to join the nation building drive. He also highlighted the role played by the Emiratis studying abroad as ambassadors who reflect their country's values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence.
Sheikh Mohamed told the students that he was pleased to meet them and affirmed the UAE leadership's keenness to provide all facilities to them to enable them to pursue their education and enrich their knowledge.
The students said they were proud to meet Sheikh Mohamed and pledged to pursue their education and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to serve their country.
