
Nepal's Vice President, Nanda Kishor Pun, yesterday received Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi, UAE Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Nepal, at his office.
They discussed a number of issues related to enhancing bilateral relations. Al Naqbi confirmed the UAE's keenness on developing joint co-operation between the two countries in the economic and political domains, especially ways to enhance investment opportunities in the agricultural, hydropower and tourism sectors.
The Nepalese Vice President stressed his country's desire to develop relations with the UAE in a number of fields, particularly in the trade, tourism, energy and agriculture.
Pun called on the Emirati companies to invest in various sectors to support economic stability and increase employment opportunities in Nepal. He also extended thanks to the UAE for receiving many Nepalese labours.
