
Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al Maawda today received French Ambassador to Bahrain, Bernard Regnauld-Fabre, accompanied with his deputy.
The ambassador was briefed about the Ombudsman Office's activities in the previous period, and its role in boosting and protecting human rights as part of its jurisdictions, including the maintaining of steady communication with diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom Bahrain.
Al Maawda reaffirmed his keenness on extending bridges of cooperation and the exchange of expertise with international institutions for boosting the Office's performance in line with its main objective of transparency.
Deputy Ombudsman Osama Ahmed Al Asfoor, Director of International Cooperation & Development Ghada Hameed Habib, and Senior Specialist for International Cooperation Nawaf Al Malood attended the meeting.
