Egypt’s Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal met on Thursday with South African President Jaccob Zuma.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of today’s session of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) in Johannesburg.
Abdel Aal asserted that all political factions and groups are fairly represented at the House of Representatives.
The discussions covered relations tying Egypt and South Africa and measures adopted to boost political, economic and military cooperation, a statement by the parliament said Thursday.
The lawmaker reviewed Cairo’s roadmap adopted in 2013 which was concluded by the parliamentary vote.
The PAP's meetins kicked off on activities Tuesday and would run until 13 May.
