
Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, received on Tuesday evening at his residence in Algiers, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and his accompanying delegation, who are on an official visit to Algeria.
Sheikh Mansour conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the President of Algeria. They also wished him well, and more prosperity to Algeria and its people.
President Bouteflika reciprocated by asking Sheikh Mansour to convey his best wishes to the UAE President, the UAE VP and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. He also wished more progress and prosperity to the UAE and its people.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to support and develop close relations of cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Algeria in various fields, especially in the areas of development, trade and economic sectors for the common interests of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
They also exchanged views on the latest developments at the regional and international levels, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Abdul Malik Salal, PM of Algeria, and a number of Algerian officials. While on the side of the UAE, it was attended Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy; Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence; and Mubarak Rashid Al Mansouri, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE.
