
President of the Republic of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, received yesterday in Buenos Aires, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, who is currently visiting Argentina.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the President of Argentina. The UAE President stressed his keenness to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries, and extended his wishes for further progress and prosperity to the Republic of Argentine and its friendly people.
In turn, President Macri asked the UAE Foreign Minister to convey his greetings to the UAE President, wishing him good health and happiness, and more progress and prosperity to the people of the UAE. He stressed his commitment to consolidating and strengthening friendly relations and cooperation with the UAE.
They reviewed bilateral relations and ways to bolster them, especially in trade, economic, investment and energy fields. Sheikh Abdullah and President Macri also discussed a number of issues of common interest.
