
President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi of the Republic of Mozambique has received H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, in the capital, Maputo.
Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to the President of Mozambique, along with their wishes for stability, progress and prosperity to the people of Mozambique.
Sheikh Abdullah expressed his pleasure at the visit and his wishes to contribute to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation relations between the UAE and the Republic of Mozambique. He highlighted the importance of opening new horizons for cooperation with Mozambique in various fields.
President Nyusi reciprocated his greetings to His Highness the President, His Highness the Vice President and His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, praising the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and achievements in various fields.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields such as aviation, tourism, agriculture and infrastructure.
The meeting also touched on a number of topics of mutual interest and exchanged views on the latest developments of the current regional and international developments.
