
HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani met here today at his residence with a number of Arab-American figures in the fields of American-Islamic Relations, Human Rights, research centers and experts in medicine, development, science, economics and international politics.
HH the Emir praised their efforts in all areas in achieving the civilized intellectual alliance. Discussions during the meeting also dealt with achievements of Arab intellectuals in the West and their intellectual and scientific theses which constitute the cultural asset for building cognitive and knowledge bridges between nations and emphasize the role played by these elites as ambassadors for the Arab and Islamic causes , as well as mutual role in the representing the Arab and Islamic nation, with a view of brining closer the intellectual and cultural visions between East and West.
For their part, the attendees thanked HH Emir for inviting them and availing the opportunity for this fruitful meeting.
