
Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir met on Tuesday with Lebanese counterpart Jobran Basil, currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting followed a round of talks between Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Lebanese President General Michel Aoun earlier today, Al-Jubeir said, stressing that the two sides are working to promote ties to the best possible standards.
In turn, the Lebanese foreign minister said bilateral relations are back to normal, adding that the Lebanese president's visit to Saudi Arabia restored normalcy at all levels.
President Aoun, who arrived yesterday in Saudi Arabia for his first foreign trip since assuming presidency in October, met earlier today with Al-Jubeir.
