
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday received Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala from India, at Al Badee Al Amer Palace.
The duo held talks on a number of issues and also discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in various fields, which would contribute to building bridges and furthering communications in the cultural, economic and academic fields.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan accepted Vijayan’s invitation to visit the State of Kerala and enhance intellectual exchanges in cultural and art domains. He would also be briefed about the overall cultural renaissance achieved by the Indian state.
They also exchange souvenirs, which signified the two sides’ interest in the cultural domain. The Sharjah Ruler presented a number of his publications to the Chief Minister of Kerala.
Several Sheikhs and officials also attended the meeting.
