Shoukry heads for New York to attend international meeting on Syria

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry headed for New York on Thursday for talks on the Syrian crisis.
Shoukry will attend – at an invitation from US Secretary of State John Kerry - an international meeting on Friday to discuss finding a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
Syrian opposition parties have recently convened in Riyadh and agreed to form a unified delegation to talk with the Syrian regime of President Bashar al Assad.
