
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday had talks with Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanon on the sidelines of United Nations General Assembly meetings here.
The two sides took up means of promoting joint cooperation in several domains, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef.
President Sisi underlined the importance of bilateral relations at all level, especially the economic domain, said the spokesman.
The Macedonian president also lauded the progress of bilateral relations in several fields over the past period, added the spokesman.
The Macedonian president highlighted the major Egyptian role at the regional level, describing it as a main pillar for stability and security in the Middle East, said the spokesman.
The Macedonian president extended an invitation to president Sisi to visit his country early next year, added the spokesman.
