Talks between Shoukry, Maltese counterpart kick off

Talks between Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Maltese counterpart George Vella, who is now visiting here, started on Wednesday.
The Maltese top diplomat took part in the fourth Arab-European ministerial meeting that was held here on Tuesday.
The meeting of the two top diplomats is aimed at discussing means of promoting bilateral relations in several domains along with regional and international issues of common concern atop of which comes the Syrian crisis.
It is also meant to coordinate stances over illegal migration and means of fighting terrorism.
