Minister of Trade and Industry Tareq Qabil held a meeting with Hungary's ambassador in Cairo Péter Kveck to discuss preparation for a planned visit by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to Egypt, said a statement on Friday.
Egypt will host an Egyptian-Hungarian business forum in June, Qabil said during the meeting.
Orbán will lead a high-level government delegation to Egypt and will be accompanied by a number of representatives of major Hungarian companies interested in the Egyptian market.
The visit follows a successful visit paid by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Hungary in June 2015.
A number of deals will be signed on the sidelines of the forum, the minister said.
