
Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi on Friday met Bahrain's Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, who is leading his country's delegation to the Tunisian-Bahraini joint committee, which takes place on Friday and Saturday.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and means of boosting and developing them in addition to the latest regional developments and issues of common concern. President Essebsi highlighted the depth of the Tunisia-Bahraini ties and aspects of mutual cooperation in several fields.
For his part, the Bahraini foreign minister said his country continues to support Tunisia's efforts to achieve development and will effectively participate in the its international conference to support economy and investment, which will be held on November 29 and 30. He added that the joint meeting will see the two countries sign a lot of cooperation agreements.
