
Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico, and non-resident Ambassador to Guatemala, met with two top Guatemalan officials yesterday to discuss cooperation relations in various sectors.
Mr. Al Menhali met with Carlos Raul Morales, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ruben Eduardo Morales, Minister of Economy, on the sidelines of a working breakfast which was being held in honour of the high-level Guatemalan delegation visit, led by the two ministers to Mexico City.
The two sides reviewed existing bilateral relations, and discussed avenues for developing them further. Al Menhali expressed the UAE's keenness to develop cooperation with Guatemala in various fields.
The Guatemalan Minister of Economy stressed the importance of deepening mutual economic cooperation, welcoming the UAE's investments in his country in various sectors, especially infrastructure and trade.
