
H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain , was briefed about the current and future plans of the Ministry of Economy, when he received the Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri at the Emiri Court today.
They reviewed a joint plan to develop industrial and tourism sectors, to be undertaken by the ministry and the competent authorities of Umm al-Qaiwain emirate. This is part of the joint efforts to promote economic sectors and enhance the emirate's competitiveness in terms of its capabilities and potential to serve the government’s efforts and achieve overall economic development in accordance with the UAE Vision 2021.
The plan also outlined co-operation frameworks between the ministry and the competent authorities in the emirate to promote the industrial sector by focussing on ways to attract non-traditional industries that depend on modern and advanced technologies.
A group of Sheikhs and senior officials also attended the meeting.
