
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin conferred with Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister Hossam Zaki in Kiev on Monday on bilateral relations and means of bolstering them in the political, economic and trade domains, said Ukrainian Ambassador in Cairo Hennadii Latii.
In statements to MENA, the Ukrainian ambassador said the two sides exchanged viewpoints on the latest developments in the Middle East and Africa.
He also pointed out that political consultations were held between Zaki and Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya.
The Egyptian diplomat's visit to Ukraine comes as part of a European tour for talks on beefing up cooperation between Egypt and a number of European countries in the fields of tourism and trade exchange.
