
Argentina Vice President, Gabriela Michetti, met yesterday in Buenos Aires, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah and Argentina Vice President reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields, including the need to strengthen the economic relations, especially in the areas of energy and investment.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the existing relations between the two countries, and expressed hope that his visit to Argentina would open new horizons for wider mutual cooperation and consolidation of the friendship between the two countries . He thanked the Argentina's Vice President for warm reception and hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation.
On her part, the Argentina Vice President welcomed the visit of the UAE Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation. She stressed the interest of Argentina to revamp its relations with the UAE given its active and influential status on the global scale, especially in economic and trade fields.
She stressed that Sheikh Abdullah's visit would have a significant impact on the growth and development in different areas of joint cooperation between the two countries, noting that the UAE is one of the important countries in the Middle East, being an important financial centre and a bridge between East and West.
At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah signed the guestbook.
