Yemen's Vice President and Prime Minister Khaled Bahah met Thursday with the senior local officials and leaders of the public resistance of Taiz governorate.
Bahah said the Yemeni government was well aware of the suffering of the people of Taiz, noting it did its best to restore the governorate and lift the siege imposed on its residents.
He reiterated that the current situation required hard work, away from the media propaganda, as some security operations depended on secrecy and surprise.
Bahah stressed the importance of unity to retake Taiz and other governorates, seized by militias of Houthis and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
