
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will leave here on Thursday heading for Turkey to attend the 13th round of the Islamic Summit Conference in Istanbul.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said that the conference will discuss the ten-year plan of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in the fields of security, terrorism, humanitarian affairs, development and poverty eradication.
The summit will tackle also the situation in the Palestinian territories, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan and Somalia, he added.
Preparatory meetings of the session of the six-day Islamic Summit Conference (ISC) kicked off Sunday in Istanbul.
