
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met Thursday here Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
Abbas posted Shoukry on the latest Palestinian developments, the obstinacy of the Israeli government which hinders resuming the Middle East peace process and the Israeli violations to al Quds or East Jerusalem as well as Al Aqsa Mosque, said Palestinian Ambassador here Jamal al Shobaki.
Abbas said also that Israel is trying to transfer the political conflict to a religious one by the storming of the settlers to the holy mosque.
He expressed his appreciation to the support offered by Egypt to the Palestinian people.
