Pope Tawadros II to visit al-Quds Saturday to attend funeral of Anba Abraham

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese will lead a delegation of senior bishops to attend the funeral service of Anba Abraham, the Coptic Orthodox Metropolitan Arcbishop of Jerusalem and the Near East, who died at the age of 73 on Wednesday.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, according to a statement by the Coptic Orthodox Church.
It is the first time for the pontiff to visit al-Quds city since the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories in 1967.
