Russian President Vladimir Putin will discuss bilateral cooperation and European security with Austrian President Heinz Fischer on April 6, the Kremlin press service said on Friday.
"On April 6 President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will meet with the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer, who will be in Moscow with an official visit," the Russian news agency Itar Tass reported.
"During upcoming talks, it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues of Russian-Austrian cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, including in the context of implementing agreements reached at the official visit of Vladimir Putin to Austria on 24 June 2014," the Kremlin noted.
"Comprehensive exchange of opinions on pressing international and regional problems is also planned. Taking into account Austria’s presidency in OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) in 2017, special attention will be paid to the issues of security on the European continent," the press service added.
