
A Saudi parliamentary delegation, under head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Shura Council Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Dawood will start a visit to Russia Wednesday.
In a statement, Dawood said the four-day visit comes at the invitation of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian Senate.
He added that the meetings with Russian officials would deal with bilateral relations and ways to promote them in the various fields.
The delegation will also discuss the latest regional and international developments and issues of common concern, Dawood said.
We will brief Russian officials on Saudi positions towards regional issues, especially the situation in Yemen, Syria, and Saudi efforts in combating terrorism and serving international peace and security, he added.
