
US Vice President Joe Biden and his wife arrived Thursday in Amman on a two-day official visit to the Kingdom, during which he will hold talks with His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Talks with the King will tackle regional and international efforts to encounter terrorism and extremism, the strategic partnership between the countries as well as the latest developments of the Syrian crisis.
Upon arrival at Marka military Airport, Biden and his wife were received by Amman Mayor, Amman governor as well as a number of civil and military officials.
Also present at the airport were the US ambassador to the Kingdom and a number of the embassy staff.
