Agriculture minister heads for Moscow

Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Essam Fayed left here on Thursday for Moscow at an invitation of his Russian counterpart.

During his visit, Fayed will hold a series of meetings with senior Russian officials, including Agriculture Minister Alexander Tkachev, President of the Russian Grain Union Arkady Zlochevskiy, in addition to the head of Russia's Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Service and his deputy.

He is also scheduled to meet the head of the Russian Retail Companies Association and the chairman of the Russian-Egyptian Business Council for talks on promoting agriculture cooperation between the two countries.

Fayed will also attend the 18th Russian Agricultural Exhibition "Golden Autumn" that will run till October 8. 

The "Golden Autumn" is the main Agricultural Forum of the Russian Federation for over 17 years, preserving the best traditions of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition and developing the modern technologies of the exhibition business in the area of industrial agriculture.
