
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa welcomed the UAE Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, who arrived here today to attend the closing of the "Arabian Gulf Security 1" drill.
HRH the Prime Minister praised the fraternal Bahraini-UAE relations, and the steady progress of cooperation between them, underlining the kingdom's keenness on bolstering bilateral cooperation in all fields.
HRH Premier affirmed the importance of joint GCC meetings, especially those aimed at increasing security cooperation and readiness, in ensuring optimum dealing with the security developments in the region and the dangers resulting from them that jeopardize the development process, particularly terrorism.
The Prime Minister highlighted the stances of the UAE, led by President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in support of Bahrain, noting that those stances are widely appreciated at all levels in the Kingdom.
The UAE Deputy Premier and Interior Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his keenness on broadening Bahraini-UAE cooperation for the best interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples
