Health directorate in Gharbiya gears up before January 25 anniversary

Health services in all hospitals and medical facilities were put on alert in Gharbiya Governorate, northern Egypt, before the celebrations of the January 25 Revolution's anniversary, the governorate's undersecretary of Health Ministry said Wednesday.
Mohamed Sharshar said vacations were cancelled for all doctors and medics, in addition to ensure the availability of all medicines and medical supplies in hospitals.
Medical teams were be deployed in major squares in anticipation of any potential emergencies, Sharshar added.
