
The Russian military ship Boris Butoma arrived on Thursday at the Red Sea base as part of efforts to enhance military cooperation between the Russian and Egyptian naval forces. It is the second ship from Russia to arrive in Egyptian ports this week, concurrent with the visit of Russian defense and foreign ministers to Cairo. A number of navy officers received the 76-strong crew ship which will remain for 4 days in the Red Sea base. Boris Butoma is a supply vessel that provides Russia's military ships with all types of needed supplies. It can load up to 13,000 tons of fuel, 400 tons of ammunition, 500 tons of water and 400 tons of other supplies. Source: MENA
