A suspected al-Qaeda militant was killed and two others arrested as police was raiding a house in Mansura district in Aden governorate, an official said Sunday. The official said that the policemen surrounded today morning the apartment No. 1 in the building No. 20 in Kabota area owned by Jalal Tarmom, 39, working for Aden Refinery Company (ARC), adding that his brothers, Ahmed and Yaser were in the apartment. "When police raided the apartment, Yaser blew himself up using an explosive-laden belt. Whoever, the policemen managed to arrest the other brothers, Jalal and Ahmed," the official said. He noted that the apartment was under surveillance for a long time, as we have suspicions that it is used as one of al-Qaeda hideouts.
