Two participants in the extremist community, which is involved in the murders of Judge of the Moscow City Court Eduard Chuvashov and lawyer Sergei Markelov, were detained in Ukraine and Serbia, spokesman for the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass on Monday. “The law enforcement agencies of the foreign countries detained Ilya Goryachev and Mikhail Volkov. He noted that Goryachev was brought as a defendant in the crimes under Article 282.1 Part 1, Article 209 Part 1, Article 105 Part 2, Article 222 Part 3 of the Russian Criminal Code for the forming of an extremist community, a gang, and for committing murder and weapons smuggling, Volkov was accused under Article 282.1 Part 2, Article 209 Part 2, Article 105 Part 2 and Article 222 Part 3 of the Russian Criminal Code for the participation in an extremist community, a gang and for murder and weapons smuggling. “At the request of the detectives earlier the Basmanny District Court of Moscow has put the foresaid people into custody. Goryachev is about to be extradited from Serbia and Volkov - from Ukraine. The Federal Security Service gives the operative support in the criminal case,” Markin underlined.
