Three wounded Syrians were brought to Lebanon Thursday morning through the eastern border village of Masharih al-Qaa, but 20 were left behind. Medics in Lebanon took Muheed Mohammad Zhuri, 50, Zakaria Mustafa al-Hammoud, 32, and Mohammad Kamal al-Jaryan, 35, to a nearby hospital. The 20 wounded Syrians who remained behind were unable to cross the border due to heavy artillery shelling between Syrian forces and rebel groups in the Syrian town of Qusayr as well as tight security by Syrian border guards near the Lebanese area of Masharih al-Qaa.
