Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas condemned on Sunday the attacks in both Egypt and Turkey, where dozens had been killed and wounded.
According to the official Palestinian News Agency, Abbas addressed a letter to Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Sisi expressing deep grief and condolences to the victims of the terrorist bombing attack in Cairo.
At least 25 people were killed and 49 others injured on Sunday in an explosion at the Coptic Cathedral in Abbasiya's neighborhood of Cairo.
Meanwhile, two bombs blasted in central Istanbul on Saturday night, leaving at least 38 dead and 155 others injured, according to Turkish officials.
"This awful crime is totally condemned and rejected which contradicts with our religious values as well as the traditions, the morals and the laws all over the world," said Abbas in an official statement.
