His Majesty King Abdullah II received visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salihi on Tuesday, who delivered to the King a letter from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. During the meeting, the King and Salihi discussed latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in Syria and efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East. Discussions also covered bilateral ties and ways to develop relations in various areas. The meeting was attended by Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh, Director of the King’s Office Imad Fakhouri and Iranian minister’s accompanying delegation.
