
Abu Dhabi Global Market, ADGM, has announced that it is taking part in the Singapore FinTech Festival which concludes tomorrow.
The ADGM team, comprising Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, FSRA, and senior management from the Capital Markets, Human Resources and Strategy and Business Affairs departments, are in Singapore to attend the FinTech Festival activities and relevant business meetings.
Abu Dhabi Global Market is also hosting an ADGM pavilion at the FinTech Exhibition from 16th to 17th November, alongside dedicated country pavilions such as Japan and India.
The market participation at the Singapore FinTech Festival comes on the heels of the launch of the ADGM FinTech Regulatory Laboratory on 2nd November.
Mr. Teng, Chief Executive Officer, FSRA of ADGM, said, "ADGM is excited to participate in the Singapore FinTech Festival and happy to be able to play a part in supporting the global FinTech ecosystem through this event. Since the launch of our Reglab and framework, we have received positive feedback and support from Abu Dhabi entities and global FinTech players. This event provides an opportunity for ADGM to raise greater awareness of Abu Dhabi’s financial services forte and economy. At the same time, we can reach out to FinTech participants who are interested in the ADGM regulatory framework and its FinTech environment."
The five-day event is designed to bring together the global FinTech community to exchange knowledge and discover the latest and newest in FinTech innovation. The FinTech exhibition will see over 10,000 attendees from start-ups, venture capitalists, central banking, asset management, risk management, regulatory compliance and many others from over 45 countries.
